Wellbeing
SWPBS
SWPBS is the framework that will be used at Marra to support everyone to learn the school values and the expectations linked to these values. Students will access wellbeing lessons that will focus on teaching, reminding and reinforcing positive actions.
Being a new school, Term 1 will be used to support the students to learn the school values and explore what these mean. From Term 2 onwards, each term will have one value as a dedicated focus. A fortnightly newsletter will be shared with staff and families to explore the expectations and aid students to be taught and to practise what each value looks like in different environments.

RRRR Curriculum
Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships Curriculum (RRRR)
The 4Rs curriculum is an essential part of the Victorian Curriculum that schools are mandated to teach. The program has been developed to enhance social, emotional and positive relationships skills. The materials support students to develop healthy relationships, resilience and confidence. There are eight units that are required to be taught. These are:
- Emotional Literacy
- Personal Strengths
- Positive Coping
- Problem Solving
- Stress Management
- Help Seeking
- Gender and Identity
- Positive Gender Relationships
At Marra School, this curriculum has been adapted to match the needs of the students, ensuring age and developmentally appropriate lessons.

Breakfast Club
With the Victorian Government increasing investment into Breakfast Clubs, Marra School have been able to opt into this program for 2026. We will be offering Breakfast Club from the middle of Term 1 onwards through the support of Foodbank. Further details of how this will be organised will be shared once we have organised the logistics.
