Meet the Principal
It is lovely to meet you all. I am Lindsey and I have been teaching for over 20 years. I started as a primary teacher in the UK, where I specialised in working with students with additional needs. We relocated to Melbourne in 2015 and during my time here I have worked across a variety of school settings, including a Special Developmental School, a Special School, a Specialist School and a Primary School. My focus has always been on creating inclusive environments that value diversity and celebrate the unique identity of every student. I want Marra School to be at the heart of the Kalkallo community alongside the other local primary and secondary schools. I know how much this school has been needed in the local community and will always advocate for our students and what will help them to become well rounded individuals. We have a strong, diverse team at Marra, with staff that have so many different strengths and qualities. I can’t wait to welcome you into our dynamic and vibrant school!

Marra School is currently led by an interim school council as approved by the Minister for Education.

The school council will meet monthly and dates will be distributed once the new school council is elected.
